As a novice to bean-to-coffee systems
Overall, very pleased with the product. It took a short while to get used to it and understand that the guidance is approximate. After putting in totally new beans, we adjusted within two or three cups to get it the way we wanted. The milk is excellent, it's really frothy but you can choose the amount of frothiness and you can do it manually if you want. So overall, very pleased! Why did it lose a star? Why not the five-star? Well, I think it's a common problem. The frequency of having to empty the water tray at the bottom is too much. Otherwise, it'd have had five stars.

great bean to cup machine, quick, efficient and no distractions added. not 5 starts becasue the quality of the milk jar plastic handle is horrible breaking in less than one month since ordering.

A great coffee machine. Easy to use once we’d watched the accompanying video. The coffee is excellent with so many different options we can choose to make. The coffee maker also looks great on our kitchen worktop. The whole family is enjoying it.

Worst machine I've ever owned.
I've had the machine almost a year now and finally decided that it is the worst machine I have ever owned and it now resides in the local skip! I thought about giving it away but didn't want to put the issues onto anyone else. Where do we begin... the amount of water it uses, I'm not a water meter thankfully. The little thing that pops up to tell you to empty the tray - or not in my case. The complete indecision of the coffee assistant feature. The speed of making a coffee - or the complete lack of speed - ok it's not as slow as a boiler version, but not that far off, and don't try to make a few coffees because one is cold before you've made the next one. It was a novelty when I first purchased it but that didn't last too long. 2 stars because ... er.... not sure why.

Simple but smart
Ninja have done it again! Another home appliance that seems to tick all the boxes for me. Very easy to use, the barista assist works a charm. A good choice of drink options and you can even use the milk frother to make hot chocolate! I like the fact that it's not all completely automated and gives me some control. Saved a lot of money on hot and iced drinks already.

Finish peeling but decent coffee
Had for a few months now, finish is peeling off. Temperature is ok once you turn it up to maximum. Easy enough to use, Aside from the finish peeling I'm very happy with it.

So far so good very pleased with the coffee machine, only criticism would be the overflow tray has to be emptied quite regularly, shame they didn’t make the base a bit bigger to accommodate for more wastewater.

I love this machine, so easy to use and make great Chai Latte, perfect temperature. I have yet to try a cold brew but it’s great so far. Makes a bit of a noise when brewing but nothing that can’t be ignored.

The ES601UK features a cold brew mode, which steeps grounds in cold water to create a smooth, fruity coffee concentrate. This can be served cold over ice or with milk.
It is fully automatic, and you just need to grind the preferred amount of coffee beans with the build-in grinder, and then select the espresso style of your like.
The product itself doesn’t have a built-in hot chocolate option, but you can definitely make it by frothing the milk and then combining it with the chocolate mixture of your choice in a cup.
The Ninja ES601UKBK does not have a dedicated “hot chocolate” button or preset, but you can make hot chocolate manually using its hot water dispensing function and milk frother by dispensing hot water into your mug with cocoa powder or mix, froth milk separately using the steam wand or frothing system and combine for a café style hot chocolate.
This coffee machine is only compatible with whole bean coffee. For best results, use the grinder on the machine when grinding.

The coffee machine can only be used with coffee beans. Coffee capsules and pods are not compatible.
Both, you can auto froth by selecting a froth style with the dial, choosing Dairy or Plant Based, then pressing Start Froth. You can also manually froth by placing the wand in the jug and holding Start Froth for 3 seconds to start steam, keep the tip just below the surface to stretch then lower to heat, press Start Froth again to stop.
