Amazingly effective and easy
I have had my Airstrait for 2 weeks and I can honestly say it has changed my life! My hair is very fine and naturally wavy/curly. I like wearing it straight sometimes but always found it a faff with drying then using straightening irons and I really had trouble getting the back to be smooth. I generally left it to air dry naturally curly (also not dedicated when it comes to spending time styling!). The Airstrait has changed all that. Wet to straight in 10 minutes - miracle! I’m beyond impressed. And on the 2nd/3rd day I can touch it up using the dry setting in less than a minute. I was so dubious I kept all the packaging… but that’s gone now! I love it, it works as they say it does, it’s easy. My hair looks great, smooth, shiny. Highly recommend.

Life-Changing for Long, Thick, Wavy Hair
The Dyson Airstrait has genuinely been a life-changing tool for me. I have long, thick, naturally wavy hair and prefer to wear it straight. Before buying the Airstrait, my routine involved blow-drying with a round brush, which was time-consuming and difficult, followed by using hair straighteners to get the finish I wanted. Since getting the Airstrait a few months ago, I’ve completely stopped using my hair straighteners. I can dry and straighten my hair at the same time, which saves so much time and effort. I honestly can’t believe I didn’t know this product existed sooner. Another benefit is how versatile it is between washes. If my hair becomes wavy overnight, I simply use the Airstrait on dry hair in the morning to smooth and straighten it again. Because of this, I no longer need to use traditional hair straighteners at all. My hair feels healthier, and I’m exposing it to much less heat than I used to. I also love that it leaves my hair straight while still maintaining volume, rather than making it look flat. For anyone with long, thick, wavy hair who regularly blow-dries and straightens, I couldn’t recommend it more. It’s one of those purchases that makes you wonder how you ever managed without it.

I purchased this last week. I have the air wrap which is wonderful. But I recently foolishly asked my hairdresser for layering and side bangs. The Rachael style. I love this look on me but I have problematic hair. It’s neither curly, wavy nor straight but a mixture of all 3 I forgot about the ringlets that form on my fringe and the front of my hair and the kinks and waves that appear during humidity. I have very thin lightest brown/dark Blonde hair with a little ginger in the mix for good measure. So I didn’t want to use hot plates on my hair as heat very easily damaged my hair. When I went from my old hairdryer to my airwrap my hair never looked so good. I don’t have the flyaways and my hair was very much tamed by the styler. I don’t use anything on my hair other than usual shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner (herbal essence (rose petal soft). I attempted to dry my hair with this as I do with my air wrap. I soon lost interest it’s just not powerful enough and so it’s a long winded experience. If I had all the time in the world it wouldn’t bother me. But I don’t. So whipped out my airwrap to dry the scalp. Then separated my hair and styled it using the air straightener. This was very fast, I never want pension straight hair, I like bounce. This works a treat I do this the same way I used to do it with straighteners. That is straighten towards the ceiling rather than pulling down. This allows for lift and it falls naturally. It took no time at all to style my hair from wet using both dysons. But where I found it most helpful is the second day. When I sleep on a night my hair becomes wavy or kinky or when my hair has been wet. And dried with ringlets. I just whip it out, and straighten whilst Dry. No spraying nothing. It does a fabulous job taming the tresses. All in all I’m very pleased with my air straightener. I I know it won’t damage my hair and yes my hair shines. But it is in good condition to begin with so. I haven’t started with a large problem. The plug is huge though. So if your sockets are close to your counter, you’ll need an extension lead

Awesome features
I bought a refurbished Dyson Airstrait last week and I was impressed by the smoothness and shine it left on my hair, but when I would straighten my hair the room would be full of smoke. I am not sure if it’s got to do with it being refurbished or it’s just normal as you are meant to straighten on towel-dried hair.

I have very thick, frizzy/curly hair and so I wasn't sure this would 'tame the beast' but honestly, it's fantastic. It is so easy to use and straightens my hair very effectively. I've tried other straightening tools before but this one is by far the best for my hair.

Not for frizzy hair
Bought is a week ago, and its not for my hair and style. Its for smooth and almost frizz free hair that needs drying out straight. With people with frizzy hair it doesnt do kuch, especially at the root. I would like to return it please.
