About this product
The Hana Wide Chest sorts your storage and keeps bedroom clutter out of sight. It's solid oak and oak veneer, that's natural hardwood known for lasting quality and beautiful grain. Nine drawers give you plenty of space for clothes, linens and personal bits, split across different sizes so you can organise how you like. The smooth-opening drawers glide easily, even when they're full. Dovetail joints hold everything together properly, so it's built to handle daily use. The wide design works well in larger bedrooms or against long walls.
Wall fixings are included and really important here, this chest is over 60cm tall so it must be fixed to the wall to prevent tipping. That's especially vital if you've got kids around. The oak finish shows off the wood's natural character and fits with most bedroom styles. It arrives flat-packed, you'll need two people for assembly but all the fixings and instructions are provided. The drawers come in two sizes internally, smaller ones for folded items and larger ones for bulkier things like jumpers or bedding.

Nice but draws wildly different shades…
Nice item of good quality. The draws arrive complete in three boxes of three. One box with a draw of each of the three different sizes. Unfortunately the final box I opened the draws were much darker than the other two sets. This made the unit look very odd. Supposed to have a replacement coming in two days but I have had zero email confirmation. Customer service is no fun to access… essentially have to call because all other options are a road to nowhere. Customer service seems to be overseas and whilst professional and polite it doesn’t en-suite confidence when I have had zero confirmation of the proposed replacement just two days out!!!

Good quality unit for the price
It's a lovely piece of furniture, in particular the solid wood drawers. Veneer on the frame doesn't really let it down too much. Assembly is difficult as one person and some bits only go in a specific way round but you can't tell by looking at them so make sure it you'll have to take it apart to fix.

I have recently had this item delivered and the only part made of oak is the drawers, everything else is veneer

Regarding the Habitat 60 Hana Wide 9 Drawer Chest - Oak. Only the bottom of the drawer is MDF with veneer, all of the other parts are solid oak.
