Inside outside food no problem.
What a bargain a great piece of equipment you can use indoor and outside easy to use good temperature control and easy to set up. Cooks food to a top quality standard with out burning it. Easy to clean after use. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small portable grill.

What a great item
I bought the sizzle 3 weeks ago and have used it a few times now. It heats up quickly and cooks food to easily and wiithout the fat splashes. Cleans easily too. Highly recommend.

The product and the service are superb but a great pity that the note printed on the front of the sizzle directs you to find recipes on a website that doesn't exist but takes you to their main site and no sign of a single recipe. Should have been sorted many moons ago.

Sticky non stick plates
Poor non stick plates, brought skip the soak to use on it and i still have to use a scrubber to get the food off it. Tried with and without oil on it too.

Ninja Sizzle - A new way to cook
Amazing gadget, very versatile, can cook literally anything on it. Easy to clean, easy to use. Great alrounder item. Well worth the price.

The Ninja Sizzle is great for grilling and general cooking but isn’t designed to toast bread like a traditional toaster. While the flat plate can lightly warm or brown bread, it needs close monitoring and won’t deliver classic toast results.
Excess fat from food cooked on the Ninja GR101UK Sizzle Health Grill is collected in a built-in grease trap and trough, designed to channel and contain runoff. The grill plates are also designed with a slight forward slope to encourage drainage towards these collection areas. The perforated mesh lid also helps to prevent splatter and can be removed for easy cleaning to avoid grease build-up.
With this low-smoke indoor grill and flat plate, you can still achieve delicious chargrilled results. The high heat helps create that beautifully seared crust, and the meat can develop a lovely smoky flavor, even without an open flame.

The supplier has advised the following for the Ninja GR101UK Sizzle Health Grill:
“ Kindly note that depending on the type of food that you cook, you may need to turn it on the other side.
Once ingredients are cooked to satisfaction, remove from the grill and turn the dial until it clicks into the “OFF” position. The power indicator light will turn off.
You can find more information in the instructions booklet and the Quick Start & Recipe Guide. ”

You have to switch it off when you finished cooking food and yes you have to turn food over ( steaks )
Hello! The splatter lid is dishwasher safe, but we don't recommend putting the grill and flat plate in the dishwasher.
I have not tried washing it ,as after each use I clean thoroughly with hot water sponge and it cleans and removes any grease or anything properly.
You can read the recipe book which came with the grill or just refer to the guide printed on the front of the grill.
The grill works like any other grill, just let it get to temperature then cook like any other grill.

No, we do not recommend using aluminum foil in the Sizzle Grill.

Hi Carol, thanks for your question. You'll be able to make grilled cheese sandwiches, similar to if you were to cook it in a frying pan. There isn't a heated lid to be able to toast both sides of the sandwich at the same time. Kind regards, Ninja Kitchen UK
