Looks & works well.
Had a similar one for many years then it broke. I then purchased a type that just sits on the can and goes around cutting the top. This had now broke, hence going back to the traditional style.

It works, it's easy to use and it's speedy!
I bought this about 2 weeks ago, and couldn't be happier! I've been through 3 previous electric tin openers in a matter of weeks, all unusable, so decided to try this Cookworks one... and IT WORKS! Not just works, it works easily! It's super simple to attach the can and to operate it, so 10/10 there, and it's also the fastest of all the electric one's I've tried! 100% recommend if you have dexterity problems and find opening tins difficult - but I'd also recommend it if your hands are fine and you're just wanting convenience as it really does just take seconds! Wish I'd bought this one ages ago! The only thing I'd change is that the lid edges are a bit sharp (other tin openers now do a smooth/non-sharp open) but it still deserves 5 stars as it does what it says it will and is the best I've used!

Being in my 30's, I have only ever found one can opener that was amazing.. and sadly, after about 2 years, it started to deteriorate too so I thought why not treat myself - I'm so glad I did! Very impressed and so much easier to use. Even the knife sharpener on the back has proved to be great! I purchased another for a family member who was also very impressed! Pretty cheap for what it is too!

"The can will remain in place. To remove the can, you will need to hold the can, lift up the lever up and remove the can from the holder. The lid will be retained by the magnet. Care should be taken as both the can and the lid will have sharp edges."
