About this product
Opening tins shouldn't be a struggle, and the Cookworks Can Opener makes it completely effortless. With 60 watts of power, it tackles any size tin in seconds - whether you're cracking open a can of soup, baked beans, or tinned tomatoes for dinner. Brilliant for anyone who finds manual openers tricky or tiring, especially if you've got stiff hands or weak grip. The magnetic lid holder catches the lid safely so it doesn't drop into your food, and there's a built-in bottle opener too, so you've got everything covered in one handy gadget.
The simple blade release means cleaning up is safe and straightforward - no fiddling with sharp edges. Auto shut-off kicks in once the job's done, so you don't have to worry about it running on. Cord storage keeps your worktop tidy when it's not in use, and the integrated knife sharpener is a nice bonus for keeping your kitchen knives in top condition. Backed by a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee, it's a practical little helper that takes the hassle out of opening tins and bottles.

Failure to open cans.
This can opener does not open tins with a ring pull and all our tins have them . It will have to go back to Argos.

So easy to use, great value for money
AMAZING! I'm so glad I got this! Opened a tin of tuna with no struggle or hand pain for the first time in years. Very easy to put together and use. Also not huge so doesn't take up too much space. I'm very impressed with this, there was no faffing or having to position it a certain way, it's really easy to use.

Cookworks can opener
This is the second one of this make I have bought cos one stays at home and the other comes with.me on holiday as I can no longer use a manual can opener and I have four of those which are going to be binned! These are brilliant for anyone who no longer has the strength in their hands to use a manual one.

Big Bargain Can Opener
Seemed a low price at the time but took a chance. Easy to use , magnet attaches to lid and keeps it away from you when ready . Quite surprised with it as works a treat so why spend triple the amount , maybe more even.
