Reintroduced from the Habitat archives, the Hana collection remains remarkable in its contemporary appeal and timeless design. First launched 20 years ago, the Hana wardrobe is crafted using solid oak and oak veneer. With dovetail joints and smooth opening actions on all the drawers, it oozes quality and provenance. Balanced, clean, iconic.

Habitat quality not what is once was
Previously bought the Hana tall boy drawers and bedside tables. Bought this to match. Same range but the quality is nowhere near that of before when ‘Habitat’ was actually ‘Habitat’. Worst part is that the finish is different, different grain, different colour, different texture. Paid for someone to construct it so only noticed the differences when put together. Contacted Habitat and they said there is nothing they can do. So now we are stuck with a ‘Habitat’ wardrobe that looks more like ‘cheap alternative furniture brand’. Had doubts about ordering from Habitat now they are solely online, doubts confirmed and won’t order again. If you want quality go up a price point if you’re happy with a basic and functional then opt for a cheaper option than Habitat that will be the same quality.

Overall a nice look but the quality is nowhere near the same as the previous versions of this product. I bought this same wardrobe around 10 years ago and in the quality is nowhere near the same. However, it is much better than other flat pack alternatives.

You can open the drawer/doors from the top recess or the bottom recess of the door/drawers.

The bottom edge of each draw has a routered shallow pocket in the center as a concealed draw pull. If you imagine in image 6 and 7 opening it with your palm facing the draw your fingers will easily find the grip.
The construction of the draws on the version I have is incredibly substantial with the front and sides made from solid oak with dovetail joints. The solid construction of the draws allows a slim grip that would not be possible on a particleboard panel which would not be strong enough.

The feet are attached to the bottom panel so are not removable.
