Customers Say
EE Mobile WiFi device is portable, easy to set up, and provides good coverage for basic internet tasks and streaming. Battery life and data allowance duration often fall short, making it less suitable for heavy use or gaming.

Below average
It's just ok for a temporary solution, battery lasts for a few hours when charged and can be taken anywhere. Found it connects better upstairs, but only gets an average download speed between 15-20 mbps. The coverage is fine around the house for basic internet tasks, does connect to gaming consoles and PC, but not recommended for online gaming as the speeds are very unstable. The 120 GB will definitely not last a year, maybe a few weeks, so would not recommend

Portable Wi-Fi internet in your pocket
After being left in the lurch by Virgin Media during a house move, this has proved an invaluable stop-gap until I can get fibre broadband installed at my new home. And I'm sure it will prove useful in future! Incredibly easy to set up - insert the included SIM card and battery pack, wait for it to connect to mobile data, then connect your device to its wi-fi network. Admin control panel can be accessed through your browser, and it is straight-forward to configure. Alternatively you can connect this to your device using the included cable and it acts as a 'USB network adapter', so is also suitable for PCs and laptops that don't have wi-fi built in. Small, light-weight, fits in your pocket, so you can have internet wherever you are as long as there is an EE phone signal. Includes 120GB of data which will be more than enough for my needs, but can easily be topped-up online.

Disappointed
The router was fine but I feel I was miss sold the twelve month data package. It lasted only 1 month . I paid £95 for this product and now have to pay £20 per month with EE for data. Very disappointed

A reliable and portable product.
The product was purchased out of necessity, as the WiFi had gone down and we needed an interim alternative. The connectivity is really good, as evidenced by the EE coverage checker and our own use whilst in Scotland. The battery lasts for about 1 day, which is sufficient. The instructions come with a website for monitoring battery, data balance, top-up, and network strength, which makes it easier to manage the services. Internet speed is good for streaming across 3 devices at least. All in all, a reliable and portable product.

Good bit of kit
The connectivity was really good and helped me when there are no such thing as rolling internet contracts in a short team lease accommodation. However, only lost a star as the battery life was poor, but could always plug into wall so wasn’t too much of an issue.

Terrible product
I checked EE website which said I had very good indoor coverage on their network. So I purchased this item for £95, it switches itself off after about a minute even with devices connected, the battery life was awful and the speed of the connection was about 0.5mpbs, not even enough to load a webpage. Tried to return it and was told they couldn’t because it was used and suggested I go to EE. EE directed me back to the merchant. Worst purchase ever.

Purchased over Xmas
Did not last very long and when the data ran out I was unable to top up.

Fantastic Gadget
Perfect for monitoring a mostly vacant property, whilst allowing for some decent internet access whenever I’m there. Works out to about £8/month, which is far cheaper than any home broadband deal. It has been working well for the week I’ve had it. I wish it had an Ethernet socket, though.
