Hi, I purchased these for my 81 year old Father In Law a short while ago, he had suffered a stroke so had lost some of his strength that he had pre stroke. He gets on really well with them, they are well balanced and not huge like some cutlery sets. I can’t speak for someone that has arthritis, but I know my Father in law gets on fine with them and uses them everyday. Hope this helps. They really are good quality for the price.
