It has wooden shelves. In regards to the question about prosecco, it fits 18 bottles of standard wine, 6 per shelf, so it would depend on the shape and size of the prosecco bottles as to whether or how many would fit.

Apologies for any confusion, the 5-18 Celsius range is the operating temperature range of the Russell Hobbs RHBI18WC1 20 Bottle Wine Cooler itself whereas the 16-38 Celsius range is the room temperature range that the cooler is working in.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Russel Hobbs RHBI18WC1 20 Bottle Wine Cooler 336/5003: If two of these products are placed side by side then a 10cm gap must be left between them to allow safe ventilation.
