Value for money
Decent little toaster that does the job. Setting 3 is a bit too brown so stick with 2

Overall great; cool, but not cool-wall
The old 4-slice toaster just had go. No, really. Had to find a replacement quick, and decided on this very reasonably priced 2-slice model, which we’ve been using now for a couple of weeks. It is great in many ways. It seems reasonably sturdy and works well (so far!). The slots seem to me to be a perfectly reasonable size, and I’m used to a 4-slice toaster. They’re also wide enough to boss crumpets, bagels, hot cross buns etc; importantly, the slots can also fit our toasted sandwich cages. The stainless steel exterior makes the toaster seem a lot more expensive than it is. I’ve not had reason to toast anything above level 3 yet and wonder as to the strange circumstances which would call for level 6…I like the curvy retro styling, and I REALLY like the combination of polished and satin steel- classy! For me the cable length is fine- who wants cables trailing over their worktops anyway? One or two small negatives… Most seriously, the exterior, especially the top, is not at all cool-wall; I’d recommend caution around children and the vulnerable, and refraining from stroking the toaster, at least while you’re actually using it. Finally, for a 2-slicer this is a surprisingly bulky item. If your kitchen is really tiny, maybe bear that in mind

Hi Lisa. Thanks for your answer however it has simply made matters worse as the Depth has now increased from 21.5cm to 30.1cm. Please look at the photos. You can clearly see that the Width should be the largest of the 3 measurements.
I just checked a few other makes - Bosch, Morphy Richards and Breville - and they all show Width as the largest on a 2 slice.
I could assume Cookworks do not understand this and they really mean width when they say depth - but if they cant even get that right?
