Versatile oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found temperature and time difficult to set using finger going round dial. Liked being able to add more cooking time. Problem with perforated tray to use with air frier was that crumbs etc could fall through onto bottom of oven. Grill works well,useful to be able to use only small area. Would be nice if microwave had higher setting than 600, eg 800 or 900 W. Liked that showed when desired temperatue was reached when using as fan oven.

Nice, but far from perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement to our previous series 8 over which we had for about 17 or 18 years. Overall it is quite nice, though we prefer the brush steel effect of the old model. There are a ton of useful features, but the lack of a rotary control is a MAJOR LETDOWN. This is not because we don't embrace change. No, it is froman accessibility point of view. My wife has arthritis and some days it is bad in her hands. She finds the touch screen dial very much harder to manipulate than a rotary dial. While it may be seen as progress, it is a retrograde step as it impacts the functionality of the machine. You also didn't provide a printed version of the book. I wouldn't mind using the app to look up recipes or how to determine the optimal settings to cook certain things, but it is not possible. The search function on your food app is, not to put too fine a point on it, utterly useless. It doesn't even show burgers when you do a search. This, too, makes the machine less useful than it should be with all the whizz bang electronic updates. This has been rather disappointing to us, as we are long time Bosch users (ovens, hobs, washing machines, dishwashers, as well as toasters, kettles, etc). This because Bosch has always been synonymous with utility, efficiency and longevity and this oven just doesn't live up to our previous ecperiences. Finally, the inserts in the oven that hold the shelves are pure crap and the trays keep getting jammed in them. There is too much movement in them and this is not good enough, either.

A great multipurpose oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this compact multi-functioning oven. Its sleek design is easy on the eye, easy to clean and looks very smart within the kitchen units. The digital controls are very intuitive. It important to register and download the app on your smart phone for the oven so software updates from Bosch can be done automatically. This is something that wasnt explained to us at the time when we bought the oven, but its easy peasy to set up. Very happy with this oven and highly recommend it.

Smart compact oven/microwave

Like the range of functions to use as an oven, microwave, grill, etc. The touch function outer ring on this device doesn't seem as reactive as the oven itself, but otherwise applicance is great. Like the notifications you get to your phone via the home connect app as well

Screen delay in response

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Bosch oven and it's good overall and works as expected The screen has some issues with delays and hanging and no way to reset it. I have been facing issues with screen and operating as there is a lot of delay when pressing buttons and processing of action after pressing cooking mode on Oven.

Replacement Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my 9 year old Series 8 Microwave Oven in which the internals were showing rust. Item is very good looking and feels high quality. Functions are easy to use but would have preferred a square TFT screen with vertical scroll bars. Capabilities are wide ranging from Microwave to Oven to Air-Fryer. Will take time to test all modes but looking forward to making full use of the machine current technology and options. No regrets on this model.
