I've used the washing machine a few times now since it arrived. As with anything new I'm still learning the different programme cycles. So far I'm very impressed with the machine's overall performance and surprised how dated my old machine was. I was lucky that my previous machine broke down when it did, as I was able to benefit from a special Hotpoint/Argos deal, which enabled me to get a £38 discount. I read previous reviews and decided to have a local plumber/joiner install the new machine and put the integrated door back on the machine. I'm glad I did as the job is perfect. It's not easy to do this as different manufacturers put the door hinges on different parts of the machine. Why there is no consistency across the industry I don't know. But I'm more than satisfied. The installation cost £100 and he took the old machine away!

What a great machine. Replaced my 8 year old 7kg with this 9kg model. Very quiet and seems to give a superior wash. Argos were brilliant as we had an issue not having the machine installed as paid for, but they refunded the money within 2 hours. Don't bother with Installation via Hotpoint get a good handyman if you need help. I do not think Hotpoint understand customer service. So unhelpful. Argos get 5 stars for customer service.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Hotpoint BIWMHG91485UK 9KG 1400 Integrated Washing Machine: Unfortunately no, any program that runs at 40 degrees and spins at 1400rpm with a full 9kg will take at least 2 hours and 45 minutes I am afraid on this appliance.
