It has three modes, Daily Clean, Sensitive and Whitening, so you can switch between everyday, gentler or brighter finishes. The Smart Pressure Sensor lights up to guide perfect pressure, protecting gums, while the Quadpacer timer alerts every 30 seconds to move to the next mouth section. The rechargeable battery provides up to 40 minutes of brushing, enough for two weeks of twice-daily use.
The round brush head oscillates and rotates with pulsating power to reach plaque in hard-to-reach areas, removing 100% more plaque than a manual toothbrush. The pressure sensor helps you find the right balance for an effective clean without damaging gums, and the brush head replacement warning reminds you when to change the head after three months. Great Toothbrush - But charging is awful
The cleaning from the IO3 is undoubtedly excellent. However, after 6 months the IO3 took longer & longer to charge, ultimately not achieving full charge at all. It has had to be returned. Even when new 12 hours to charge seems extremely long bearing in mind how quickly other devices charge. Have Oral B scrimpted on the battery or charger?

A good tooth brush. Feels like it gives your teeth a good clean. No mess too. The cheaper model leaves a stain/toothpaste residue dripping down the body despite rinsing it clean. The timer goes on beyond 2 minutes for those who like to brush for longer. A small vibration at 30 second intervals. Highly recommend.
