Good paint
Bought this paint 2 weeks ago, painted on a textured wall, took 3 coats on 3 walls. And still have paint left! Lovely colour, no smell either.

Love the colour
I love the colour. I’ve been looking for this dark navy for ages and couldn’t find it. So glad I got it. The only downfall is that it marks quite easy, for that reason I have a 4 instead of 5. It would be good if they could bring out a sheen and silk or a durable Matt that can be wiped clean.

Good feature wall
I got this on offer with the ivy sky paint, I had the blue as a feature wall surrounded with the green. The paint coats in two to three coats and is good. I used it in a bedroom and it looks regal now. Would recommend this product but wouldn't cover a full small room with it.

Perfect
Used in my lounge, always use Matt paint & usually buy Johnstones paint, as it covers well and has a wide range of colours. This is a beautifully deep shade of blue and looks fabulous if I do say so myself. Bonus as it was significantly reduced, so a double win 😁

It's advised to prime the wall before painting, if you wish to use a dark colour primer to gain true to colour drying then you can do.

The supplier has advised the following for the Johnstone's Wall & Ceiling Matt Paint 2.5L -Midnight Saphire:
"Our Johnstone’s Walls & Ceilings will cover up to 12m2 per litre of paint. This assumes that the product is being applied on to a previously painted surface of a similar product. Bare substrates and areas of a wide colour change will often require extra coats to achieve a solid colour.
The total area is 86 square metres. 10L of paint will cover 120m2. Depending on what surface the paint is being applied to this may not achieve the 12m2. The product will need a minimum of 2 coats. Strong colours may require more. I would advise 20L of paint should be enough to cover. There may be a small amount left over depending on how it covers.
The product is re-coatable in around 4 hours. All paints do carry a small odour. This product is water based with a low chemical content. Providing the area is suitably ventilated, any potential odour will usually dissipate within a few days."
