"Yes, the G-Shock GA-2000S-1AER does make a noise to alert you when the timer has finished.
How the Timer Alert Works
When the countdown reaches zero, the watch emits a 10-second beeper alarm. You can stop the beeping manually by pressing any button on the watch.
Key Timer Features
Countdown Range: You can set a timer for anywhere from 1 second up to 24 hours.
Measurement Unit: 1 second.
Alert: A progress beeper is not included on this specific model, but the final "Time Up" alarm is standard.
Check Your Mute Settings
If the customer finds the timer isn't making a sound, they should check if the Button Operation Tone is muted. While the countdown alarm usually overrides the mute setting, it is good practice to ensure the watch isn't in a completely "silent" state if they are expecting audio feedback.
Note: To return to the Timekeeping Mode at any time (to ensure they are starting from the right place), the customer can hold down the C button (bottom-left) for about two seconds."
