A very smooth process
Got this LEGO Star wars set around a month ago and could not asked for a smoother process! I was told immediately where and when to pick up my parcel and as I arrived I was met with kind and caring service and was very quickly given my parcel.

Confusing instructions
It’s a great set and I’ve just started building it. But it’s not very clear that there are multiple bags with the same number on the outside. So it’s confusing when it says open bag 1, then it seems like you’re missing pieces, only for there to be another bag 1 inside the box.

Form over function
Visually the set looks very appealing for the most part. It's not perfect of course, but it is an excellent visual representation of the iconic ship in Lego form. Functionally however, the model is extremely fragile, particularly the angled side panels. This makes the it very difficult to handle and frustrating to repair. The biggest flaw in my mind however is the mechanism. I feel like the absence of technic components in the mechanism was almost celebrated but this actually results in wobbly wings that droop significantly over time and ultimately detract from the appearance of the final model. It's such a shame because the set otherwise looks marvellous. I don't doubt that the shape of the ship presents some design challenges, and the designer has done a far better job than I might have done but ultimately I have been left disappointed.
