Easy to use and grip tin opener.
Very happy with our new tin opener which is the best one we’ve ever owned. Nice chunky easy to grip handles and easy to turn the handle to open tins. Perfect if you have arthritis or dexterity issues. Argos price was the cheapest, purchased online and did click and collect in Sainsbury’s which was convenient for me. Would definitely look at buying more OXO products in the future which can hopefully be ordered from Argos.

Excellent opener.
The Oxo can opener is a must have for every kitchen. It is super comfortable in the hand with soft handles. Light weight as well. It glides through tins with considerable ease and takes the lid off in one piece. This ensures no cut fingers etc. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Smooth and Speedy
Have only used a couple of times since purchasing but seems better quality than the last one I bought from Tesco at half the price, which went blunt sooner than I would have hoped. This one is comfortable in the hand and races around the top of the can like a greased eel. Took me by surprise the first time because I'm used to breaking my wrists and swearing copiously to get the bleeping can opened. Now I can enjoy a tuna sandwich without breaking sweat 😊

The oversized, non-slip knob provides the extra leverage needed to pierce and cut through thicker metal comfortably.
For the best results with a Fray Bentos tin, we recommend ensuring the cutting wheel is firmly locked onto the outer rim before you begin turning. While no tin can resist a good OXO tool, the extra grip on our handles is specifically designed to absorb the pressure required for these more stubborn containers.
