This BaByliss straightener uses Micro Heating Matrix technology with 2500 micro heaters across the ceramic plates for even heat coverage and no hot spots. The microprocessor monitors temperature 50 times a second to keep heat consistent and enable rapid cool down. It heats up fast and provides 5 temperature settings up to 200 degrees. The curved housing design lets you create smooth curls as well as straighten. Ultra-fast heat recovery means consistent results from roots to ends.
The ceramic plates glide through each section smoothly. The heat ready indicator tells you when it is ready to use. With a long swivel cord, you have plenty of room to move around while styling. Bought these a few weeks ago to replace a very expensive set that I had had for years. Was very surprised at how good they are for the price. They heat up nice and quickly, and also have a nice heatproof case to keep them in.

Made my hair full of static electric
I recently purchased this hair straightener, hoping for smooth, sleek results, but I’ve been disappointed. It leaves my hair full of static electricity, making it hard to achieve the polished look I wanted. I’ve tried using heat protectant sprays and other anti-static products, but the problem persists. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first glance I was very impressed. The length of the power cord is great and much longer than other I have had in the past. The straighteners had a nice finish, were lightweight, ergonomic and felt nice to hold. The sound when you turn on the straighteners could be a little quieter especially if you are getting ready in a room where someone is sleeping. I did feel on occasion that it tugged through my hair instead of a nice glide but overall my hair was straight and shiny albeit a little fluffy. Overall this is a nice sturdy product

Love using this styler
