I bought this as a replacement for the same peeler I had for several years. The new one is very sharp (so be careful when hand washing), and really glides though carrots, potatoes, sweet potato, pumpkin. Ergonomic handles for excellent grip, and is a very effective peeler.

I bought this item because I think this is the best peeler on the market right now. I work as a KP in a busy restaurant and do a lot of vegetable prepping. I have tried many peelers but always come back to the oxy peeler. Also gives you the option of speed peeling, because the blade is sharp both side's. So an excellent product and I won't buy anything else in the future.

Chunky handle perfect to hold especially now my old hands touch of arthritis. Peels so fine leaves the best of all your veg and fruit to eat. (Especially for stringing the awful quality of celery we get today!)
