Compact, portable ring light with adjustable height and multiple light settings. Brightness and battery life praised, but stability and build quality concerns noted by some users.

Decent for the money!
After a month's use its still all intact and, bearing in mind it lives in a toolbag thats a recommendation. The light is bright enough, the remote works well and height is good. Its not that stable though. The plastic tripod legs are fairly short so its easily knocked over, particularly on uneven ground. Generally does the job though.

Great until it wasn’t
This ring light was great until the second time we went to charge it. Sadly the charging port then fell inside the unit. Currently trying to contact for a replacement. Hopefully Argos can sort this for me

Useful Ring Light for Winter Nights, taking photos
I chose this Rio Ring Light as I’ve had Rio products before (their small diffusers) so I know they’re affordable quality. I wanted one that would sit on my bed or desk and also be tall to stand in front of clothing hung up to be listed/sold online. I managed to use it on the bed and hand held to light my items once the daylight had gone. The retracted handle is comfy to hold and the extendable pole is a good length, handy and easy to use, the only thing is it can try to topple over if you don’t get the angle right and have the ring facing down/forward too far. The light colour options are good and easy to change and switch the unit on/off. The camera phone/selfie option also works well and it holds my older iPhone securely. Overall, for the size and cost I am very happy with this light.

Good
It's a bit fiddly and the stand wobbles when you press start on the video. But to be fair I wasn't using it as a beauty selfy videos which is how it's advertised and sold.

Good value entry level model
Bought at short notice as had a self tape audition to do while away from home. As an entry level device it was good value for money. I'm not sure how long it will last but it survived the first couple of hours use with no problem and worked very well. Height from tripod legs does adjust up to over 70cm which wasn't clear in the description and is helpful for framing the actor in shot without extra kit.

Smaller and flimsier
Expensive for the quality and size that the images misrepresented. Falls over easily
