About this product
The Habitat Chesterfield Velvet Footstool gives you somewhere to put your feet up after a long day, and it keeps your living room tidy too. There's a hinged lid that lifts to reveal concealed storage inside, ideal for stashing extra cushions, throws or magazines out of sight. The charcoal velvet upholstery feels soft and adds a touch of elegance to your lounge or bedroom. Classic deep button tufting and piped edges give it that traditional Chesterfield look. Turned wooden feet lift it off the floor and add to the style.
The foam-filled cushion top stays comfortable and supportive. The storage compartment inside gives you plenty of room for everyday bits. Assembly's really straightforward, you just need to attach the wooden feet. The velvet wipes clean with a damp cloth when you need to freshen it up. Comes with a two-year guarantee for peace of mind.

HUGE AND HEAVY
The first footstool arrived damaged due to bad tempered delivery drivers. The second was collected and a replacement delivered a week later with no drama this time. The actual footstool is large and heavy, my baby grandson decided to climb inside it and hide, and he's a chunky boy. You'd be able to store all manner of stuff inside this thing, it's that big. As for the height, I'm tall and I wanted a nice high footstool to elevate my legs. I feel I'd prefer to use this without the legs as it's a little too high even for me. Either way it looks very nice and matches perfectly the chair and sofa also purchased from Habitat. I did have a discount and also used some points so I got a decent price and when the replacement was delivered I was given a timed delivery slot which was worth almost £20. I want to mention also the two young lads who delivered my sofa before Christmas. They were absolutely amazing and did everything to get the sofa into my apartment, which was no mean feat. I've usually found Habitat/Argos delivery drivers to be very good, and these lads were brilliant.

The leg height is 135mm. Although, this could possibly be used without the feet we would always recommend that the item is assembled to it's final position.
