A very loud ticking sound.
The bedside alarm clock didn't cost much so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. The ticking noise it makes is so loud it didn't stay in the bedroom long! I will check out things more carefully before buying in future.

Returned item as it did not work. Despite battery in clock , and ticking, the hands did not more so was unusable. I have had the same problem with a previous wall clock purchased last year. That time it was replaced successfully. This time I chose a different one.

Can’t see dial when it is dark.
I bought this clock for bedside table so I could see the time without turning phone on during the night if I woke up but you cannot see the dial in the dark.

The supplier has advised the Acctim Remi Alarm clock has a standard crescendo alarm - The alarm tone becomes louder (the alarm tone gradually increases volume with faster beeps).
