Inadequate design
The retaining nut that holds the cutting wheel keeps loosening. The cost to the manufacturer of using a friction, locking nut would cost next to nothing and would make product much more useful. Why haven’t the designers thought the design through or, indeed, tried using what they have designed?

Great little tool easy to use much better than scissors for cutting those hems. Make sure you have a surface under the fabric that can take a cutting. Well worth the cost.

I dressmake and craft almost every day and I often blunt my scissors so I wanted to give this a try and I'm glad I did. It is razor sharp and can glide through fur fabric, felt and everything in between. Care is needed though as one slip could cause a nasty injury.
