The RE200 Wi-Fi Range Extender delivers fast dual band Wi-Fi up to 750Mbps and provides reliable connections for laptops, smartphones, tablets and other wireless-enabled devices. Dual Band –technology provides two dedicated Wi-Fi networks. You can dedicate each wireless device to the appropriate band dependent on usage amount and manage efficiency. With AC speeds of up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and 867Mbps on 5GHz, replace dead zones with strong, fast Wi-Fi in every room.

I bought this to replace an old BT 1200 wi-fi extender which had lost it's functionality i.e. was struggling to work with my much newer virgin router (automatic 2.4GHz/5GHz, multiband optimisation etc - stuff that hadn't been invented when I bought my original BT unit). Easy enough to get set up - plug in and press the "wps" button (ensuring you have pressed the "wps" on your router first) and away she went with better coverage than my old unit 👍

I bought it to extend wifi ro the garage, what is 15 m away from the wall where the router and the extender plugged in. No improvement happened at all.
