Cheap and not durable
The rods break very easily which caused us further problems when one rod broke off in the pipe so we had to get specialists to retrieve it. I would not recommend buying this. Call an expert and don’t waste your money. Two stars is generous for something which has cost us money to deal with!

Does exactly what I needed it to.
This product did exactly what I needed it to do. Saved me a fortune on a potential plumbing bill! Easy to connect, robust and well worth the small investment. And, unlike paying for the drain to be unblocked, I still have the equipment now so that if I have to clear another drain, it's ready and waiting!

Well worth it.
Excellent value and worked well with the two hooks end on. But the solid plunger attachment was very rigid and difficult to get into the pipe. Fortunately was not needed. But i would still recommend the purchase.

They WOULD be suitable IF the toilet is blocked because the underground waste pipes OUTSIDE the house are blocked! This type of blockage would affect ALL water draining from your home, ie kitchen sink, dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom sink, shower and bath. You are likely to find water or sewage leaking from a manhole cover or drain near the manhole cover if you run kitchen tap. Or if you lift any manhole covers ON the property and you see it blocked or filled with waste water and sewage.

These WORKPRO 12 Piece Drain Rod Set are for use in pipes outside your house. It shouldn't be used for blockages inside the house (eg blocked sinks or toilets). You would need a domestic plunger.
