Great iron
I bought this iron as a replacement I chose the same brand as my old one.The iron felt heavier but solid which I like,heat distribution and steam excellent and it made short work of my ironing pile....I love it

Oh dear!
Had to take it back as I thought it was 'not fit for purpose'. The plastic flex support sits high and sticks into your wrist as you iron. The handle is not ergonomic - it slopes down at the front leading to an awkward holding position, making the wrist ache. The friction (resistance to smoothness) is high - probably due mainly to the weight of the iron, but also maybe due to the bottom plate being 'grippy'? - so much so that when ironing it had a tendency to pull up the material you were ironing. This weight and friction restricted ironing to only about 20 push/ pulls (due to increasing wrist ache).

Good steam control, smooth glide someplace. My third of this model. Just wish it was made of a less brittle plastic that didn't shatter so easily if accidentally knocked off the ironing board!.

Very Heavy
The iron produces a good amount of steam especially the extra shot of steam when needed. The main downside is the fact it is so heavy. This is not an iron to use if you have a lot of clothes to Iron. I have put this back in it's box to use as a spare and bought a much lighter model.

The manual does advise if you live in a hard water area, you should use distilled water (not chemically descaled or softened water).
Be advised that if you buy distilled water, check that it’s marketed as suitable for use in irons.

There is no proper place to store the cord around the iron. If you wrap it around the iron it is not very neat and tidy.

It just wraps around the iron there is no additional way to store the cord any other way.
