The Garmin Edge Explore 2 GPS Bike Computer brings clear navigation to every ride, whether you're commuting through city traffic or exploring country lanes at the weekend. Its 3-inch touchscreen works through gloves and rain whilst remaining visible in direct sunlight, showing maps that adapt to your bike type and route preference. Connected eBike riders receive battery status alerts and routing adjusted to assist level and range.
It's designed for cyclists who want straightforward GPS guidance without complex setup or training plans. Preloaded activity profiles for road, off-road, and indoor cycling are ready to use out of the box. The device highlights popular roads and trails with searchable points of interest along your route, and high-traffic roads appear on the map to help you make informed route choices. The Edge Power Mount and pins are included for constant charging during rides, though eBike charging requires an additional cable sold separately. Battery life depends on usage and active features.

Does the job , occasionally the rerouting of you go of curse seems to get confused , and multiband would improve product as under trees on backroads it goes lose gps. But overall performance is great. Off road I have had to dig out os map app on phone , bit only when in middle of fields with no obvious track ahead

Perfect addition to bike
Fed up with checking route on phone. No more stopping on route- direction continuously updated on garmin. Can convey now on the scenery rather than worry I about turning left or right.

If a phone is not used for Garmin Connect - our phone app.
The device can be plugged into a computer and they can use Garmin Express.
Internet connection can is used to ensure the device software and mapping is up to date. This is also used to upload activities to Garmin Connect.''

Just been delivered, It is not the power mount version
that is listed
Ive just collected one to use on a sportive this weekend, then a massive trip, and am VERY disappointed that this description is WRONG. There is absolutely no power mount included, and Ive paid well over what I could have bought this for elsewhere. I now have the hassle of returning it and trying to find what I wanted elsewhere. Not cricket Argos!
It absolutely is not the power mount version and does not have the mount. Just picked mine up, very dissapointed!

I cannot guarantee a 3rd party battery pack to be compatible with the device. We do have a Charge power pack available which is only compatible with the Edge® Explore 2 Power Mount Bundle.''

Our supplier has advised the following regarding the Garmin Edge Explore 2 GPS Bike Computer.
"We would not be able to advise on whether the Edge Explore 2 would be able to work with the 4i power meter. This is because the 4i is a third party power meter so whilst this may work and be compatible, however we could never guarantee that this would work"
