Covers the bed and has easy corner straps to keep it in place. I wouldn't say you can feel it under the sheets as its very thin. It basically just protects the mattress a bit more.

Mattress protectors are only thin as they just act as a cover for your mattress. It will be less than 1 cm thick.

The product description under About this producton the Argos website STILL says it can be tumble dried!! In December 2023, 2 years after this question was asked and answered as non-tumble dry! Needs anemding, or else a note adding to the Q if advice has now changed
