Customers Say
Compact, sturdy cafetière ideal for single servings. Easy to use and clean with good filter design. Many note misleading '3 cup' label; it mostly holds one mug. Good value and quality for price.

Decent item for small cups
Bought this cafetiere thinking it would have enough volume for 2 average size mugs however, it barely fills one normal size mug so it's not ideal if you are expecting it to have enough liquid volume for a normal mug. It nis however a decent little cafetiere, I got a trio of coffees as a present which could only be done in a cafetiere, hence my reason for buying it. I am pleased with my purchase just not with how much volume of liquid it holds. Would still recommend but wish I bought the bigger sized one.

It does what it suppose to do

I bought this a few weeks ago. Purchasing via Click and Collect was straight forward as was collecting from my local Argos store. Very pleased with the cafetiere which is simple to use and easy to clean. It makes good coffee too.

Clever design
Very neat gadget I like the feature with the filter on the plunger to prevent spillage. Also the plastic is less likely to shatter if knocked or dropped

Hi Adi,
Yes, you could use aluminium capsules in this Habitat 3 Cup Cafetiere - Black, providing you open the capsule and only use the coffee inside.
Thank you for using Q&A
I use this for grounded coffee i am sure if you pop out the coffee from the aluminium capsules it should work and filter the coffee.
If you empty the capsules into it then yes it’s fine , I’ve done this myself
This is not to brew your coffee on gas or electric cooker.
You have to add grounded loose coffee add hot water and then wait for 1mins press down and pour in a mug. Hope this helps.

HI there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know No, definitely no.The glass is not supposed to be forced out from the plastic carrier for any purpose.
Thanks for using Argos Q & A
No. I looked at attempting to remove the glass beaker. It appears to be either clipped or glued. If you exert too much pressure on the beaker when trying to remove it, you risk breaking the beaker.
Hi there,
The jug is made of Borosilicate glass.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A
The jug itself is glass, but the holder is black plastic and protects the glass.
