The AEG CIB6734ACM Double Electric Cooker brings smart cooking technology to your kitchen with an induction hob and two ovens ready for everyday meals. The induction hob heats pans directly while keeping the surrounding surface cool, so accidental touches won't burn your fingers. Steam Bake adds humidity during cooking to give you bakery-style results. Think soft bread with crispy crusts, succulent roasted chicken, or perfectly flaky fish. You've got a multifunction main oven with grill and a conventional second oven, giving you plenty of space for Sunday roasts and weeknight dinners.
Catalytic liners in both ovens activate when heated, breaking down grease and residue so you can skip scrubbing. Triple-glazed doors keep heat inside, and removable inner glass makes wiping down easy. The hob offers 4 cooking zones. 1 small, 2 medium, and 1 large, with touch controls at the front for quick adjustments. A digital timer alerts you when cooking is done, and both ovens have an A energy rating. Some issues
After 2 years ownership…control panel difficult to clean. Tendency for hob to randomly switch on or off, sometimes with a light wipe, or moved pan or just because it feels like it. Can suddenly revert to P or A settings, sometimes dangerous to set the hob and leave. A very much regretted purchase and vastly inferior to the model it replaced. Incidentally, only replaced because a spare part was unavailable and cooker was essential for Xmas!

Fantastic cooker
Love cooking with this cooker, after trading in an ancient electric single oven and prehistoric hob. Haven't tried every function yet, but the steambake feature is brilliant, have been itching to bake some evenly cooked cakes and this has surpassed my expectations. Only slight quibble is due to the sloping control panel, when cooking on the front of the hob, cooking splatters hit the controls and are not easy to clean off of the clock. But a minor price to pay for actually enjoying cooking again. A fantastic centrepiece to my compact but recently renovated kitchen.

Disappointed
This cooker was bought to replace a Stoves cooker with a hob which had a recurrent fault. I was very much looking forward to being able to use the new AEG cooker, but having only had it for 3 weeks, I have already had to call out an engineer under the warranty. On turning off the fan oven, the downstairs fuse box circuit is tripped regularly. The engineer believes that this is due to a faulty selector dial, and he needs a second visit to rectify this as he doesn't carry the part. Not the best start, and I can't say that I'm impressed. If this is an indication of an unreliable appliance after such a short period of time, I would appreciate it's replacement. When working, I have no complaints. I like the cooker, but at this stage I don't feel I could recommend AEG.

Functionality
The cooker is cosmetically quite appealing; however, there are design flaws when refined would make the unit user friendly; for example, the location of the controls are in direct conflict with pan bases and the clock/timer could be located in a better position so the hob surface is clear of any protrusions which are a hindrance and dangerous for Indian cooking. The owners manual desperately needs upgrading bearing in mind that for many this might be a direct change from all gas cookers to induction hobs and electric ovens. The hob/control buttons layout are certainly not convenient for Indian cooking.

Bad design
Top oven only used thus far but, cooking small meat dish with wedges, the steam produced is so bad that it condenses on the wall tiles and has to be wiped off every few minuets to stop it running behind the unit. What will happen when using both ovens together for a long time eg Christmas, it’s going to get extremely wet behind the cooker. Schoolboy bad design.

Stylish oven with a very effective induction hood. Main oven calibration is poor with mine running 15C above the set temperature which cannot be adjusted.

Excellent cooker!
Love the induction stove, so easy to clean and perfect for cooking with many different kinds of dishes. The larger oven is excellent too and it is also very efficient. My lamb roast that I made for the first time ever turned up lovely. Now, I am more motivated to learn how to cook better as well! Well pleased.

I've been wanting an induction oven for a long time finally have one and I'm not disappointed heats up so quickly the main oven cooked evenly not used all the functions yet but I'm sure that I won't be let down.

Very impressed with my first Induction hob.
Hob brilliant, compared to our previous Gas Hob. The Grill works wonderful but just so big not energy efficient. Being able control over heating 1/2 of it would be better. The Main oven Icons confusing and need to keep referring to the manual.

The supplier has confirmed. The AEG CIB6734ACM electric cooker does not come with a hood. It is designed as a standalone electric cooker without an integrated hood. For cooking, you will need to use a separate hood or vent to exhaust the steam and smoke produced during cooking.

To initiate SteamBake on your AEG CIB6734ACM cooker, follow these steps:
🔹 How to Use SteamBake Mode
SteamBake adds humidity at the beginning of the baking process, which helps dough rise better and gives baked goods a crisp crust.
Preheat the Oven:
Turn the oven function knob to the SteamBake setting (often indicated by a steam symbol or labeled as “Moist Fan Baking”).
Set the desired temperature using the temperature knob.
Add Water:
Pour approximately 250 ml of water into the SteamBake cavity at the bottom of the oven before starting. This cavity is usually a shallow depression in the oven floor.
Do not pour water directly onto the heating elements.
Start Baking:
Place your food in the oven.
The steam will be released automatically during the initial phase of baking.
Let the Steam Work:
Steam is generated during the first 10–15 minutes, then the oven continues baking with dry heat.
After Baking:
Wipe out any remaining water from the cavity once the oven cools down.

The AEG CIB6734ACM 6000 SteamBake Cooker with Induction Hob requires a hardwired electrical connection and typically draws a maximum load of around 11.5 kW.
This should be done by a qualified electrician.
To remove the inner glass panel from the top oven door of your AEG CIB6734ACM for cleaning, follow these general steps based on the official guidance and video tutorials:
Steps to Remove the Inner Glass Panel
Open the Oven Door Fully
Lay a soft towel or cloth on the floor or a table and rest the door on it to avoid scratches.
Locate the Door Trim
At the top edge of the oven door, you’ll find a metal or plastic trim that holds the glass panels in place.
Remove the Trim
Gently push or unclip the trim from one side. It may require a bit of pressure or a flathead screwdriver to release the clips.
Once unclipped, lift the trim off completely.
Slide Out the Glass Panels
Carefully slide each glass panel upward and out of the door frame.
Note the order and orientation of the panels for reassembly.
Clean the Glass
Use a soft cloth with warm soapy water or a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Dry thoroughly before reassembly.
Reassemble the Door
Slide the glass panels back in the same order.
Reattach the top trim by clipping or snapping it back into place.

If you put a magnet on the bottom of pans if it stays on the pans are ok for induction hobs, if it does not connect then its not
