Good toaster, but not quite 5 star
I needed a new toaster after sending my Krups toaster with my son to uni. It has served us well for many years. I love the colour of the Distinctions toaster, it adds a pop it colour to my mainly grey kitchen. It toasts well, can cope with wider items, I like the progress light on the front. The minor downsides are that the numbers can be quite hard to read for the level of toastiness. Also the highest setting isn't high enough for crispy crumpets, I need to put them in again. And the lift up function, doesn't lift that high.

Looks great, with a function I never knew I needed
I bought this toaster for the look and wasn't disappointed, it fits perfectly with my kitchen design and works as expected, with simple, yet useful functions. Even has a function to re-warm your toast... a function I member knew I needed, until now. I love it, as much as you could love a toaster 😉

Love My New Toaster
This toaster met my needs perfectly. Its neat, toasts bread fully and evenly, looks great on the worktop and the colour really stands out. It's fabulous. I can't fault it. Delivery was swift and the price was extremely reasonable for something so good. I absolutely love my new toaster.

Pretty decent toaster
I have only used it on setting 1 so far. The defrost function works fine. It takes my hand sliced bread fine. Not long enough for pitta bread.

Really good toaster and not at all bad looking.
A good toaster. Simple to use and no fuss. Toasts rapidly though, like every toaster I’ve used, slightly differently on each side. The ability to lift items without interrupting toasting is a feature I’d not had on previous toasters and is actually quite useful for checking on how close to done things are. A personal thing, but the aesthetics are also pleasing and restrained. Wish manufacturers were more discrete with their logos, it let’s it down slightly in an otherwise attractive design and colour. Slightly larger looking than expected, despite checking dimensions prior to ordering. Quite deep, front to back. Good sized slots though and fairly high lift action for retrieving small items. Good value, especially with the 20% discount I purchased it with. Would probably still be satisfied with its quality at full price though.

Looks hreat, toasts well BUT top overheats
Looks lovely in my teal kitchen and functions as a decent toaster with differing levels of toastedness. I burned my finger the firt time I used it though, got a little blister so kust be wary not to touch the top of the toaster AT ALL when removing toast. I do wonder if Russel Hobbs even have safety teats on products betwem this amd the matching kettle that gives out free steam burns when using.

Enjoying my new Toaster
Love the look of the toaster and the position of the knobs. Makes great toast and good to have a toaster that will toast crumpets. It is a little hard to see the numbers for setting the degree of toasting and long narrow slices of toast are no easier to remove than with my old toaster. Only slight problem is that it tends to burn the crusts on my homemade bread. Haven't tried with shop bread.

Long and wide slots for bread. Easily takes a slice from a farmhouse loaf. Browns both sides of the bread evenly. Lift up option a bonus. Take a little time to try out the number settings.The toaster looks good too although my main concern was having a toaster that did what it was supposed to do.
