Best Machine Yet
This is my 2nd dyson, its a V8 asdvanced. My previous machine was a V10 animal which after several years of good service I replaced. The V8 is a cheaper machine, a lot lighter and amazing performance, the suction on the lower setting is alI I use as it picks up better than my old machine, I rarely use the higher settingas there's no need, the other feature I love, is the fact hair ends up in the dust pot and not around the brushes. Althougth the pot looks small it holds plenty of stuff and only needs emptying once per house clean, I can vac my 3 bed semi on 1 charge inc of stairs pic rails etc. The only downside was only 3 tools where supplied how ever the tools on my V10b fiitted :). A great buy . Ps my daughter bought one after trying mine

Reasonably priced and does the job.
Bought this to replace my 10 year old V8. This is a little bigger and heavier than my previous one so I wasn’t sure about it at first because the weight is important to me, but it does feel a bit more robust. It picks up well on both hard surfaces and carpets and the bin is easy to empty. Battery life is good. Easy to manoeuvre around furniture. The tools click on and off without too much effort, and overall I’m happy with it.

Bought this vacuum 3 months ago and I'm very happy with it. The suction is great on both hard floors and carpets and all the cleaning heads are so much more versatile compared to my old corded upright and it is so much easier to do a quick hoover to keep on top of cleaning or to sort a specific small area of dirt. Would highly recommend.

Great features.
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and it is the 4th Dyson I have purchased. I was very pleased that the new wall mounted charger fitted the previous drill holes (thank you!) so it was simple to put up. Overall I am very pleased with it, the only problem I have had is the ‘ball’ on the main brush head is a little stiff. I have sprayed it with silicone and manually agitated it and it seems better, however when vacuuming under the bed the head still lifts slightly from the floor and I have to re-angle it to drop flat. The red connectors between the tools are an improvement also. It also picks up dirt well.

We purchased this having had a previous version. We found both give/gave excellent performance. I only rated it 4* because of the acquisition and future spares costs. High spares cost led us to replace the whole machine after 7 years which is not very environmentally friendly.

Good for light vacuuming only
Works ok in low power mode but if you use high power battery only lasts 5 minutes on full charge, can't even vacuum my very small house on that.
