I bought 3 stunt scooters from Argos for my children. The one used the least often broke mid-use, with the front wheel coming off completely. It’s taken 2+ weeks of going back and forth with Argos and the repair company sending me a bolt with a missing piece to re-attach the wheel myself. The pink scooter was probably on special offer for the reason of being poorly made. I’m waiting for the remaining 2 scooters to also break any day now. Poor product and extremely poor aftercare. I do NOT recommend.

I can advise that rather than an upper age limit there is a recommended maximum user weight of 60kg. So if the 8 year old child does not exceed 60kg it will be suitable. This is recommended for aged 6 years and over.
