Works better than a desktop fan.
The Manhattan Fan pushes the air up and down. Ideal for cooling the air in the summer or helping to push the warm air into all areas of the room in winter. It fits most rooms with its Aesthetics. The twin bulbs gives you a Bright light, just a shame no dimmer for the light. Quite, efficient and, great asset to the room.

Perfect for those who like to sleep with a fan on
We brought this just before the heat wave, its been a god send. It's very powerful and generates alot of air, not sure why its taken us so long to buy one. The light is bright enough and its not noisy at all. The instalation was tricky but got there in the end. For anyone buying i would just say that to line up the blades put in one side screw and then the middle first then the other side. When trying to fit the box under the bracket dont do the screws up fully until you have placed the box as its a very tight fit. Overall very happy with it and would purchase again

Good air flow and quiet
This is a great fan have had the same type in my last 3 homes. Quite quiet good in a bedroom dropped 1 star for ease of fitting the space is tight for the reciever and cable entry in the mounting bracket but other than that a good fan.

I bought this fan and had it installed and found that the motor was seized. Had a replacement fan and that packed up shortly after it was installed so got a refund. Chanced it again and bought another one which was so noisy when it was running I took it back for a refund. Won’t buy another one

The product can still be connected to a wall dimmer switch; however, it will only provide an on/off function. You will need to turn it on using the wall switch and then operate the fan and light using the remote control supplied with the product.

Argos Home Manhattan Ceiling Fan - Satin Nickel:
Having looked into this. The light requires a 2 x golfball E27 edison screw filament LED. Recommended maximum wattage: 10 watts. However, with LED bulbs, you do need to look at the lumens instead of the wattage on the bulbs, for how bright they are. There are also different colours that can be bought in the E27, Warm White, White and Daylight. This can also affect how bright the bulbs appear to light up a room.
