Marshalls Garden Italian flat-leaf parsley (Petroselinum crispum) offers a strong, intense flavour that lifts salads, sauces and fish dishes. Its plain, richly flavoured leaves are ideal for fresh garnishing and everyday kitchen use. Easy to grow and low maintenance, this high-yield herb thrives in sun or part shade and is suited to pots, window boxes, patios, raised beds and small gardens. Water at the base when the top inch of soil feels dry and avoid overhead watering; apply a balanced slow-release fertiliser or organic compost sparingly about once a month. Harvest fresh leaves from June through September; the plant is biennial and reliable for seasonal use.
