About this product
Silentnight's Middleton collection includes a practical base with a stylish merlin headboard and the Middleton comfort mattress. It is an 800 pocket sprung mattress with a medium feel which is great for protecting the back, yet soft enough to sink into sleep with comfort. It also includes layers of eco comfort fibres which provides extra support to allow natural airflow, the mattress is finished with a soft knit cover for added comfort through the night. **The piping detail may be white, or grey (as picture shown).
The set comes with a Merlin headboard from Silentnight which is a stunningly strutted piece that upholstered in fabric for pure luxury.
The padded headboard offers added comfort when sitting up in bed and is decoratively detailed with deep vertical lines and a sea shell shape for a contemporary twist on a classic design.

Love it!
I wanted an ottoman bed for the extra storage.... Already had one for my son, but a different type. This one was easy to put together although heavy, so you do need 2 people. Came in 4 pieces, 2 base sections, the headboard and the mattress. The ottoman section is a completely enclosed wood effect box so no dust or skin / hair debris can fall into or onto your things stored in it. It's a half ottoman, but still has plenty of room to store my bed linen and other stuff. It's exactly what I wanted. I should also say that the delivery team were fantastic... This bed was going up to the second floor of the house, but they couldn't have been more helpful, delivered with care, humour and exactly when they said time wise. It's quite a high bed once the mattress is in situ, but is very comfortable. I'd say a medium/ firm.

Problems from the start
Once put together we noticed a problem with the drawers not fitting properly, contacted Argos and they delivered a new section which included the drawers which fitted correctly, but the section was a different shade of colour to the other section. So now we are having to get the whole bed replaced again. Not what I was expecting from a Silent night bed

Beautiful comfy bed.
I have had this bed for 2 weeks now, and am extremely happy with it. Firstly was very easy to put up, I did it myself. It's such a classy looking bed, and very luxurious. The quality and comfort is there, and sleeping wonderfully since it's arrived. Have received many complimentary comments from friends and family.

Bought the bed a few weeks ago for my 8 year old and she loves it , but there are a few things that should not be..... 1st, there are markers where you have to punch to be able to screw the headrest to see photo 2nd, in 2 of the drawers there some kind of damp patch that when wiped spoiled the bottom of it see photo. See how long it lasts

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Middleton 800Pkt Comfort Kingsize Divan Bed-Blue: The mattresses both have 800 Pocket Spring in them but the Middleton 800 pocket Memory has a layer of body moulding memory foam.

Mattress depth for this Silentnight Middleton 800Pkt Comfort Double Divan Bed is 25cms. You measure this by placing a long piece of wood diagonally along the top and bottom then measure between the 2 pieces of wood.
