About this product
Silentnight's Middleton collection includes a practical base with a stylish merlin headboard and the Middleton comfort mattress. It is an 800 pocket sprung mattress with a medium feel which is great for protecting the back, yet soft enough to sink into sleep with comfort. It also includes layers of eco comfort fibres which provides extra support to allow natural airflow, the mattress is finished with a soft knit cover for added comfort through the night. **The piping detail may be white, or grey (as picture shown).
The set comes with a Merlin headboard from Silentnight which is a stunningly strutted piece that upholstered in fabric for pure luxury.
The padded headboard offers added comfort when sitting up in bed and is decoratively detailed with deep vertical lines and a sea shell shape for a contemporary twist on a classic design.

I bough this for my 2 year old who's moved iut of a cot. It's great, really comfy mattress, good storage, easy to assemble and looks fab. Son loves it though it is a little high to climb on to with little legs

Lovely and comfortable single bed
I bought this lovely bed for when our granddaughter comes to stay. The added drawers give more space to store books, games etc and the pink is a nice blush colour. The headboard is pretty and she'll shaped. The mattress is comfortable and perfect for a 6 year old child.

Lovely Girly Bed for a 2yr toddler
I brought this bed for my 2yr old; as she was ready to come out of her cot bed. Once ordered, i thought maybe she’ll be too small for this single but nope she loves it. Its lovely material, lush colour, came with silent night mattress which is very comfortable. The bed is easy to put together, headboard can go either end. Also can easily fit a toddler bed-guard to it for safety. Very happy purchase & good quality:-)

Disappointing to say the least
Ordered for quick delivery so my wife could come out of hospital and adapt to ground floor living. Bed delivered minus the four feet and two fixings to secure the headboard, which is now leaning against the adjacent window. I propped the base up on wooden battens, otherwise the two built-in drawers will not open. Rechecked all the packing, three items delivered as specified. Have sent two emails to help@argos.co.uk on 8/16 Nov. Ignored.

Gorgeous bed
We bought this bed for my mother in law who has mobility issues and needed to be moved downstairs. She was very happy with it and slept on it only 5 nights when suddenly unexpectedly a hospital bed was sent over for her and we’ve had to dismantle it. Anyone need a bed 🤷♀️

Yes, this would be suitable for a child to use. The mattress is tested to a weight of 15 stones, and contains our Eco Comfort fibres, which are foam and chemical free.

Yes it is removable. It's not a structural part of the divan sections, it fits onto the back via some large screw in bolts and you could use the bed without it if you so wished to.
