I have had a Citizen ecodrive watch for many years. \it has been 100% reliable and accurate. For my grandson's 18th birthday I wanted to buy him a lasting, memorable gift. He wanted a watch with a leather strap and this Citizen Eco-Drive was perfect as it is chunky, useable day to day and distinctive.

Bought this as a gift for Christmas, lovely quality watch, nicely packaged and less than half price with offer. I would say watch actually looks better in real life than on screen, well happy with my purchase.

Looks great but faulty
As this is an eco drive model, I believe the watch had been in the dark, in the box for too long as it will not retain charge, even when left under direct UV light as recommended. Had to contact Citizen to return to their repair centre.

"The large sweep hand (which would usually be the second hand) does not move, this is used for the purpose of the stop watch. On this particular watch the second hand that moves is in the sub dial at the bottom of the watch."
