Fluffy rice every time
A great purchase. Makes perfect fully basmati rice every time. Bowl is easy to hand wash but dishwasher discoloured the outside of the bowl.

Should have bought this sooner!
Very happy with this appliance. Easy to use and makes great rice. Also convenient in so much as you just set II off and forget about it. The rice will cook and stay warm for an hour is so while you cook other things. Be aware - there is a thin skin of rice that forms on the base. Just avoid scooping this onto your plate (we feed it to the chickens so no waste).

Very Rice!
I bought this cooker following extensive external reviews and found it to be one of the best on the market. The reviews indicated that it was better performing than many others at ahigher price bands. The clincher was that Argos had a special deal on the cooker, so it was a no-brainer. Having used it several times already, we have found that it has already out-performed our previous rice cooker that had to be replaced. It is nice to have fluffy rice again, rather than in the lumps we were getting out of our old one.

Our supplier has advised that the Russell Hobbs 1.8L Rice Cooker and Steamer - Silver non stick is Whitford coating and it does contain PFAS, but all our coatings are food grade and below required levels so if ingested the coating will pass through the body and because the coating itself is a hardened blend of materials any parts will not leach out.
