Johnstone's Wall & Ceiling Paint Silk Emulsion has been formulated to give a bright white, attractive sheen finish for interior walls and ceilings. This low odour formulation is quick drying and easy to use, providing a smooth and durable finish that is ideal for use in busy areas of the home. Product Features: Superior Whiteness. Covers approx. 60m. Touch dry: 1-2 hours. Allow 4 hours between coats.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Johnstones Wall and Ceiling Silk Emulsion Paint 5L - White: I would suggest a wall primer Johnstones Acrylic wall primer/undercoat to block out the red, or just additional coats.

Yes, the Johnstones Wall & ceiling paint can be painted on the new dry plaster. The supplier recommend following the instruction on the back of the tins, and that you thin the first coat you apply by 10% clean water.
