Definitely brought my old knives back to original sharpness taking around 10 minutes per knife, it takes few attempts to get used to how draw the life through the sharpening wheels but once mastered my knives were very sharp. Gave 4* due to not having a final very fine polishing stone. I used my old hand sharpener fine stone to finish. In my opinion the sharpen is efficient, safe and worth the money.

First one I had was gutless…
The first one I bought from Argos the same make and model was completely gutless. It had less power than a Lego motor so I gave it a second chance hoping that just the one I had was a faulty one surprisingly when I tried the second one it was absolutely brilliant to the point now I need to be really careful how I cut because it will slice your fingernails off with the real good Sheffield knives that I’ve had for years would totally recommend this product but I will say in this bubble wrap safety world that we are in please be very careful …
