Regret my purchase
This mattress protector cannot be used before 12 months due to suffocation risk. It has a very plasticky layer which doesn't seem very comfortable. I feel it may become sweaty. I'm sure it will keep liquids away from the mattress. But the regular mattress protector on my king size bed seems to do that well enough, without a literal layer of plastic. I also would prefer no anti-allergy coating.

i bought this 3 weeks ago for my 1 year old and it fits his cot bed so very nicely and it has been a very useful cover to get, if your baby/toddler suffers with wetting the bed at times then i would definitely recommend this sheet!!

This is confusing as the Lullaby Trust says babies should sleep on waterproof mattresses
