Rubber does deteriorate over time, so regular checks are recommended and replacement after 2 years keeps things safe and sound.

It appears to me to be the best hot water bottle I have ever purchased. Its predecessor, purchased from a well known high street store , was much cheaper but was nowhere near as safe and comfortable. Unless the stopper was fastened so tight it was subsequently difficult to open I made the unpleasant discovery. that it wasn’t watertight! This new one is a delight! Twice the price but worth every penny.

“ Natural rubber comes from latex, which is the liquid form of rubber. Once processed into solid rubber, most of the latex proteins that cause allergies are removed. Many people with latex allergies can use natural rubber products without issues, but this depends on individual sensitivity. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for YUYU Hot Water Bottle Rubber
We cannot guarantee that the bottles will have a 2024 date stamp on them. Our 2 year warranty starts from the date of purchase/first use and not the date of manufacture.
The bottle will only start to wear when it is being used. (ie filled with hot water).

Yes it is, however the bottle is very thick, so it does not generate heat for a long time. The outside of the bottle will feel lukewarm however when you pour it out it will still be very hot

The YUYU Hot Water Bottle Rubber has three different types of stoppers depending on the age and type of the bottle. The original 81cm length YUYU Bottle has a natural rubber stopper. The newer 81cm length YUYU Bottle has a plastic stopper. The 75cm length YUYU Bottle has a metal stopper.

The YUYU Hot Water Bottle Rubber should not be used with boiling hot water. The instructions for filling the YUYU Hot Water Bottle Rubber are:
Boil water and wait 4-5 minutes to allow the water to cool.
Hold the YUYU rubber bottle by the neck and pour slowly into the bottle.
If you are planning to wear the YUYU, fill to a maximum of 2/3 capacity or less.
For maximum flexibility, very carefully expel any excess air by holding the neck up to avoid spilling.
Secure the stopper finger-tight to prevent leakage and begin using.
