Fantastic bed and plenty of storage
Fantastic idea loads of storage underneath managed to empty a full wardrobe underneath and still plenty of storage. Plus, it leaves lots of extra room in my bedroom now as I can store all the clothes and bedding underneath. Highly recommend just being careful when having to flip the bed to put the bottom on, as the bed springs open, It should advise you to tie shut first.

Good quality and strong frame.
Bought this ottoman bed and few weeks ago for my son. When i was fitting the bed i can say it's built with good quality and strong material. Easy ti fit with clear instructions. Plenty of space under the mattress frame. Good strong hydrolics to lift the mattress. Looks sturdy all around. Bought a silentnight mattress with it which fits perfectly with this frame. Only 1 thing was unexpected that the bed head rest is not very high after the spring mattress on. I would have preferred headboard to be bit hight so when to sit and your back is up against the headboard. Otherwise, fully recommend this bed.

It wouldn't be the depth that is the issue, it will be the weight off the mattress. If it's a heavy mattress then the pistons may need additional support when lifting.
