About this product
The End Lift Ottoman Bed tackles bedroom clutter and gives you a comfortable place to sleep. It's got a hydraulic gas lift system that makes it easy to raise the base and reach the storage area underneath, even when you're in a rush. There's space for spare bedding, seasonal clothes, or anything you need out of sight but close to hand. The grey faux leather frame wipes clean and resists everyday marks. A stitched headboard adds a finished look. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress and allow airflow. Plastic feet keep it stable and lift the frame slightly off the floor.
The ottoman opens from the end, so you can position it against a wall without blocking access. The lined storage compartment holds over 600 litres, enough for duvets, pillows and towels without cramping your wardrobe. The faux leather is PU coated for durability and easy cleaning after spills or scuffs. Maximum user weight is 220kg, suitable for most adults. Self-assembly required, two people recommended for easier handling. Mattress sold separately. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included.

It's a bed!
Don't really know what to say about it. It's an Ottoman bed, which we bought for the additional storage. It's exactly as expected, was easy to assemble & we're very happy. Delivery was prompt, too. Much quicker than we expected.

Bought 2 of these for my children, perfect for their bedrooms quality is reflected with price if you want a sturdier bed worth paying more but will do the job for the kids. Im a fairly strong woman, I did struggle building the first bed on my own but by the second found it much easier

It wouldn't be the depth that is the issue, it will be the weight off the mattress. If it's a heavy mattress then the pistons may need additional support when lifting.
