About this product
The GFW End Lift Ottoman Bed helps you make the most of a smaller bedroom by tucking away linen, blankets, towels and clothes beneath your mattress. The base lifts from the foot end with a smooth gas hydraulic system, so you can reach the lined storage area without shifting furniture or heavy lifting. There's 613 litres of space inside, enough for seasonal bedding or extra clothes that don't fit in your wardrobe. The faux leather frame wipes clean quickly and has a stitched headboard that adds a finished look.
The base sits on sprung wooden slats that support your mattress and allow airflow underneath. Plastic feet keep the frame stable and lift it slightly off the floor. The storage compartment is lined to protect your belongings from dust. The headboard is included and fits straight onto the frame. Self-assembly is needed, with two people recommended for easier handling. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.

It's a bed!
Don't really know what to say about it. It's an Ottoman bed, which we bought for the additional storage. It's exactly as expected, was easy to assemble & we're very happy. Delivery was prompt, too. Much quicker than we expected.

It wouldn't be the depth that is the issue, it will be the weight off the mattress. If it's a heavy mattress then the pistons may need additional support when lifting.
