About this product
The GFW End Lift Ottoman Bed helps you organise your bedroom when floor space is limited. There's useful storage built into the base, plenty of room for bedding, spare towels, seasonal clothes, or extra blankets. The faux leather frame has a stitched headboard that keeps your wall protected and adds a finished look. A gas hydraulic system lets you lift the base from the foot end, so you can reach everything stored underneath without heavy lifting. It fits a small double mattress, which you'll need to purchase separately.
The storage area holds over 500 litres and has a fabric lining to protect your stored items. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress and help it breathe. Plastic feet lift the frame slightly off the floor, leaving a small gap for airflow and easy hoovering. The faux leather wipes clean after everyday marks. Self-assembly required, two people recommended for easier handling. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.

It's a bed!
Don't really know what to say about it. It's an Ottoman bed, which we bought for the additional storage. It's exactly as expected, was easy to assemble & we're very happy. Delivery was prompt, too. Much quicker than we expected.

Bought 2 of these for my children, perfect for their bedrooms quality is reflected with price if you want a sturdier bed worth paying more but will do the job for the kids. Im a fairly strong woman, I did struggle building the first bed on my own but by the second found it much easier

It wouldn't be the depth that is the issue, it will be the weight off the mattress. If it's a heavy mattress then the pistons may need additional support when lifting.
