These refill cartridges are made for maintaining and cleaning men's shavers that work with Philips Quick Clean Pod systems. The hygienic cleaning formula tackles cut hair and bacteria more effectively than rinsing with water. Using the Quick Clean Pod after every shave removes shaving debris and keeps your device performing optimally. For use with compatible Quick Clean Pod devices only.
The hygienic formula combines with a multi-grid filter to eliminate cut hair for optimal hygiene. Active lubricants protect shaving heads from friction and wear to extend your shaver's performance. Each cartridge lasts for about 30 cleaning cycles with daily use or up to 3 months with weekly use, so this 3 pack gives you up to 9 months of fresh shaving. The formula cleans your shaver more thoroughly than water alone.

Brilliant system cleans really well can't recommend this strongly enough superb system. Only issue is getting hold of the cartridges & being sure your buying the correct one.

Good but overly priced
Good refills pods, effective cleaning solution & lubricant for keeping cutting blades on Philips 5000- supposedly a refill lasts up 12wks, make sure to clean shaver with wee brush and rinse thoroughly before docking it on Philips cleaning pod. I find them generally 25% overly priced, shop around or try to purchase them when on offer !

Drive shaft bad design
I’ve now gone through two cleaning pods, and both have failed in the same way after about a year of use (need order a third one). The drive shaft that connects to the razor head wears down to the point where it can no longer drive the cleaning pump. The material used for this component is clearly too soft—the top simply rounds off with normal use. What’s especially frustrating is that there are no spare parts available, so the only option is to replace the entire unit. At the current price, that makes this a very expensive piece of equipment to maintain over time. Overall, this feels like a design flaw rather than normal wear and tear. I expected much better durability for the cost, and unfortunately, it’s left me quite disappointed.

Razor looks like new
Your razor looks new after using this, I could never get my razor as clean as this, I even put my old razor in to the liquid, it came out so clean. I wont use water to clean my razor, I use this after every shave.

Replacement pods
I buy these on a regular basis for my excellent Philips shaver. There is not much to say really, there are no alternatives, I think its important for the maintenance of my shaver. I do think the full price of £20 is a little expensive, so I try to buy them when they are on offer.

For the Philips Quick Clean Pod QCP10/01 (383/1898). The pod is compatible with Series 5000 (S588X/S589X), Series 7000, Series 8000 and Series 9000 (models S99XX, S96XX).
