Good tv only issue is the software will not update to latest webos. LG should make a newer version of this size tv with new software

Perfect tv for a small space & reasonably priced
I bought this tv a couple of weeks ago to replace the small tv in my kitchen which had suddenly stopped working. It’s a great little tv which just fits on the end of my larder cupboard & is really useful when I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Sound & picture are a good quality & it was very reasonably priced. All in all, the perfect tv for my space. Would recommend.

Parental volume set up control
This LG tv is a life changer, our son 20+ is severely disabled and insists on watching his tv at full volume even in the early hours (he sleep irregular) the choice was turn it down and risk behaviours or just try to sleep through full 90 volume. This tv has parental volume control at setup 60 max and it looks like it’s at max. We would recommend this tv ..it truly is amazing to sleep through the night!!!! 👍 if I could give more stars then I would ⭐️

No, all of our TV's are designed to go into standby as it requires a very small amount of power in the TV to maintain channels, passwords, internet connection etc.
Only way to overcome that is to turn it off at the plug but you would run the risk of it restarting itself and loosing information
