The De'Longhi Magnifica Start brings bean-to-cup convenience to your worktop, letting you enjoy freshly ground coffee at the touch of a button. This fully automatic machine is perfect for beginners, grinding whole beans with its integrated burr grinder (13 settings) and making espresso, ristretto, cappuccino, flat white, latte macchiato, and hot chocolate. The intuitive control panel features one-touch drinks and a strength selector for mild, medium or strong brews. With 15bar pump pressure and a crema device, it delivers rich, aromatic coffee with a signature layer every time.
You'll appreciate practical features like a generous water tank with level gauge, removable drip tray for easy cleaning, and a manual steam wand for creamy milk foam or hot water. The adjustable cup stand fits most mugs, and the machine uses both coffee beans and ground coffee. Automatic cleaning and descaling programmes simplify maintenance, with dishwasher-safe parts and a descale warning. It auto shuts off after 30 minutes, and an LCD display keeps you informed. Don’t bother
No instructions in English. Tried downloading not very clear. Now sat watching You tube to try and get it working. It will be going back in next half an hour if we can’t get to work. Also pouring out water.

Best coffee machine
Best coffee machine I’ve ever owned and it makes better coffee than the famous high street coffee shops. If you are a coffee connoisseur, this machine is for you. The instructions the machine come with are not detailed enough, but there are plenty of YouTube videos around to run through setting it up. I don’t regret spending that bit more on this machine, very easy to use and maintain and the kitchen smells just lovely when the beans are being ground.

This coffee machine does not have a dedicated hot‑chocolate function, but you can make hot chocolate using the manual steam wand and hot water function.
